I am an avid reader of personal development books. (Truth be told, I’m more often an avid audio listener versus reader. Either way, I consume A LOT of inspirational material!)

Do your best to make sure the voices in your mind are kind – you deserve kindness. Criticizing yourself never feels good, so try to stop negative self talk before it snowballs and becomes a bigger problem in your mind. Love yourself, don’t bash yourself.
Do you ever catch yourself talking down about yourself? I know I do. Being your own best cheerleader is a much better choice than being your own best critic.
Look at mess-ups as an opportunity to grow into a better version of you. When negative thoughts about yourself come into your head, quickly refocus to a positive thought about yourself. See your strong points and be proud.
