On my walk yesterday I found my first beautiful red leaf lying on the ground, so fall in the air! It’s time to get inspired to decorate your home for fall and Halloween. No matter what decorating style you prefer for you home, you’re sure to find a few great ideas here!
When I had young kids, I had a lot of fun being creative with Halloween decorations and making our home look festive. Since then, I maybe put a few pumpkins on the deck and call it done.
It’s time to get back into the spirit of the season and bring back the fun decor of Halloween. This year I’m going to dust off the few decorations from storage, and create some new decorations to enJOY.

DIY Halloween Decorations
I crawled the web and found some bloggers who are willing to share their awesome DIY Halloween project ideas and tutorials.
Under each decor idea is a link to the tutorial details. All the Halloween home decoration ideas are easy and fun! So easy that you can include your children or grandchildren in most of these projects. My children are grown and I don’t have grandchildren (yet), but I’m still going to take time to make my home more festive this year to bring back a playful, fun decor to enjoy the season.
Not into DIY projects? No problem. You’ll also find links to fun, inexpensive decor available on Amazon.
So with the two options, DIY or purchase, you should be set to bring some seasonal festivity to your home. Let’s get started with the ideas!
I’ll start with a couple photos shared by a friend who has a real talent for decorating:

OMG so many great ideas. I haven’t decorated for Halloween in several years, but I see a few ideas that I’d like to give a try. Showed a few of the porch signs to my husband. I think he will get it ready for me to paint. Fun ideas, thank you!
What a fun collection of Halloween projects! Thanks so much for including my jack-o-lantern, scarecrow, and boo sign
Hi Linda, your signs are great! So cute and they don’t require a high skill level with tools. I love the link sharing group on FB that helps us all collaborate. Thanks so much for sharing your fun ideas!
Thanks for including my pumpkins!
You’re welcome – love the burlap option. You’ve got so many great crafts on your blog. I’ll be a regular visitor! Thanks again for sharing your project.
Absolutely love these ideas. Going to pin for inspiration for next year.
Holidays give reason to add some unique, temporary fun to our homes. 😀
